U.S. 30 traffic delays expected next week for bridge beam removal
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, September 09, 2014) - U.S. Route 30 will be restricted next Tuesday, September 16th, and possibly Thursday, September 17th, for bridge beam removal as part of the $1.3 million project to replace the State Route 267 bridge over U.S. 30 in Madison Township, Columbiana County.
ODOT's contractor, DOT Construction Corp., from Canfield, Ohio, will be utilizing the Ohio State Highway patrol to slow traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. during this operation.
The SR 267 bridge has been reduced to one, 12-foot lane with temporary traffic signals since mid-June. The completion date for this entire project is November 2014.
