New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, August 20, 2014) - Weather permitting, U.S. Route 30 eastbound will be reduced to one lane next Tuesday morning, August 26th, while concrete is placed on the new State Route 267 bridge over the highway in Madison Township, Columbiana County.
The eastbound travel lane (right lane) will be closed during this work. The westbound lanes of U.S. 30 will not be affected.
Just over 100 yards of concrete will be poured with this work. ODOT's contractor for this $1.3 million project is DOT Construction Corp., from Canfield, Ohio.
The SR 267 bridge has been reduced to one, 12-foot lane with temporary traffic signals since mid-June. The completion date for this entire project is November 2014.
